Terms of service

1. Scope

These terms govern your use of the HarnessMax website and any quote request you submit through it. Orders are additionally governed by the terms stated on the quote and order acknowledgement.

2. Quote requests

Submitting a drawing does not create a contract. A quote becomes binding only when we issue it in writing and you accept it in writing, and it is valid for the period stated on the quote.

3. Your responsibility for the design

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the drawings and specifications you supply, and for confirming that the design is suitable for its intended use. We build to the documentation provided. Where a drawing is ambiguous, we will ask; where it is silent, we will apply reasonable industry practice and tell you what we assumed.

4. Your rights in what you send

You represent that you have the right to send us the designs you upload and to have the described assemblies manufactured. You retain all intellectual property rights in your designs. You grant us only the limited licence needed to quote, manufacture, test, and ship your order.

5. Acceptable use

Do not upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or use the service to have manufactured anything whose manufacture would be unlawful.

6. Warranty

We warrant that assemblies conform to the accepted drawing and specification and are free from defects in workmanship. Report a defect promptly and we will repair, replace, or refund at our option. This is your exclusive remedy.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of an order is limited to the amount paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in effect when you accept a quote governs that order.
